Keep Your Dog Happy!
I have a little jack russell dog which I love very much, she has been a wonderful dog over the years. I hate to leave her in the house, home alone, for any length of time, as she is a very sociable animal and loves the company of humans. I have found that she is happier and frets less if I leave the television on in the house for her when I go out, as the movement on the screen and the voices reassures her. It has worked really well for her.

Sorry Des, but if you're out how do you know she's happier? And have you thought of the fuel you're using, helping to destroy the planet so your dog's (I don't want to say bitch)offspring will not only have no tele to watch but nowhere to live?
